Brewman 1,192
The serrano is from the white pig and iberico from the black if I remember rightly. I lived in barca 18 years ago so got a taste for Spanish food then.
BGD 6,436
Jamon iberico is the dogs bollocks A whole leg will set you back a fair bit though
Brewman 1,192
Might just have to go for the serrano. Last year I was in murcia for a couple of days then stayed in Alicante for a night. We found a locals bar where the beer was good and cheap and the food was good. I asked the manager how much for a leg hanging up and he said €50. I'll make sure I've got plenty of room in the bag. mushroom 13,002
The mouldier it looks, the better A decent leg will be anywhere between 100 and 200. Anything cheaper will not be cured as long, still bloody nice though Good tip is to make soup out of the bone and remaining meat when its nearly finished. Silversnake 1,099
I love seafood! Here in Oz I have caught some SWEET seafood, to buy really good seafood over here is not so easy. But in all my travels, which does not include Spain, the best seafood I have paid for has been in Japan. I can't put into words how much I enjoyed the seafood over there and I would recommend the trip to any seafood lover.

A bit like calamari but tastier, possibly my favourite shellfish along with decent crab.About 11 years ago somewhere in between Melbourne and Sydney on the coast we stopped for a bite, the equivalent of £1.20 got me 8 calamari rings the size of onion rings you'd get here and very tasty to. Oz is a great place SS, it's got everything but I heard it's got expensive in recent years. What blade is that in your profile pic?

Don't get me wrong I love my country from a geographical point of view, I would like some bigger mountains and a change of government but hey you can't have it all so they say... The blade is a kiszliyar snake with silver (of course) guard and butt. It is my favourite pig sticker. Atb. Edited to add Australia has become bloody expensive!
