I love seafood! Here in Oz I have caught some SWEET seafood, to buy really good seafood over here is not so easy. But in all my travels, which does not include Spain, the best seafood I have paid for has been in Japan. I can't put into words how much I enjoyed the seafood over there and I would recommend the trip to any seafood lover.

I've had cuttlefish in Hong Kong and that was a lovely dish.
Have you tried adobong pusit, you can get it in honkers though its a filipino dish, its baby squid cooked in their own ink, makes the juice black, very tasty,we used to buy fish from wanchai wet market, loads of wierd and wonderful stuff swimming around in the tanks.
I haven't but I'll get back there again and go for a whole lot more.

We stayed in a hotel across from the race track but the good lady wouldn't eat breakfast in the hotel so I had to get fresh fruit outside. Found a street that only had locals on it with every type of fish, all the poultry to be slaughtered and even some turtles. Included in the fish was a small shark looking fish approx 2'long.

In some of the restaurants there were fish which I think we're abelone, have you tasted them? It would have been about £40 for a main course.

Was up the west coast last year, October. We were to eat only what we sourced......shot a woodcock which was preceded by raw sea urchin.......very nice indeed.......tasted like I was eating the sea if you know what I mean.....

greenshank cheers mate id love to

cheers mate would love to cook food for a living but my liver couldn't take it lol, as a kid I used to help deliver herring and mackerel by the bucket out of an old comma van was brought up on grilled fresh mackerel and herring milts ,sprats and kippers, must get up west coast of Scotland one day could eat scallops raw out the shell all day , if I go to a fish restaurant I always leave with the feeling I can cook it better cheaper and have more on me plate if I done it meslf, then theres monkfish was once the cheapest fish on the slab years back,mix002.jpgmix003.jpgjoedan045.jpg32bbeef2-35da-4018-ad92-60692ae96891_zps
