Deer This Time Of Year

Recommended Posts

Every corner you turn there's either a doe and a kid or a buck and a doe having it together and either way they do not want to move its like they are not scared went out for a walk just seen over 20 roe deer and majority of them did not want to move when seen me which made me have to keep the dog tight to me on lead hiding his head with my body to stop him seeing them and going mental, last corner I come round see a man struggling to keep control of his two terriers who on the tail of a doe and a kid straight for me and lucky dog on tight lead but still goes mental I say to him it's lucky mines on the lead

In some places in the south you can hardly walk in a straight line without tripping over one...shame I can't say the same about the rabbits.

I thought hampshire was heaving with rabbit

Not in my little corner unfortunately. The last time I saw one on my shrinking permission (thanks to a new housing estate) I nearly had to check it up in a field guide as it was so long since I'd seen one. Good luck to all of you who do have decent numbers and enjoy it...and think of me. :cray:
