There's no way that 2 stone is muscle mate,,,,   Just be carfull your not just going to get fat,,,i understand you want to gain some weight,,,but being in good knick and lean,,,you can actually look

I've been trying to put weight on for well over a year now, trying really hard to consume around 3200 calories a day. I've got a pretty balanced diet and eat plenty of protein and complex carbs. My weight is constantly up and down fluctuating +/- 4lbs either way and no matter what I just cant break the 10st barrier.. any suggestions?

3200 isnt really enough if you have a fast metabolism mate.....whatever your maintenance calorie intake is 500 above that is what an average person will need to gain 1 pound per week....you being a hard gainer/fast metabolism it will be more try to make around 4000 if 3200 is balancing out.....very basic of course but your age/activity/work/sleep will all effect metabolism.

Mate there's so many different ways of doing it and every body's different !! My brother thinks he a dieting and training expert ! And laughed when I told him my diet and training but in four weeks I lost a stone and put a good bit of muscle find what works for you we are all different I can drop weight really quickly and eat shit and hold my weight but your body my do it another way

I've just been shot down on a bodybuilding forum I've just joined after showing my diet, thing is I got the f****r off a website as well. 300g of protein is way too much for the body to handle apparently.

 

I would have thought at your current weight 200 odd grams would be ample

Yes it could be ok but this diet I found is simple to follow and with minimum preparation, I work long days and I'm up at the crack of dawn. Can't be assed f***ing about doing 3 whole eggs and 5 egg white crap in the morning. Edited by DogFox123

I got weighed yesterday and I was 95kg, I've lost over 5kg due to being flat out at work and not eating enough. You don't reckon 3000 calories is enough for a bloke my weight who has a very active job plus working out 3 days a week?

I got weighed yesterday and I was 95kg, I've lost over 5kg due to being flat out at work and not eating enough. You don't reckon 3000 calories is enough for a bloke my weight who has a very active job plus working out 3 days a week?

 

 

When I was training heavy and doing manual work I was eating around 4500 at least a day at 16st 7lb

Just extra to shit out thats all.

Full fat milk pints all that powdered stuff is bollocks milk is the answer if you Drank 12 pints a day Ild make a bet you pit weight on

Well I actually drink 8 pints of milk every day.

Well I actually drink 8 pints of milk every day.

Up it then drink another 8 I've given a few people advice with milk and not one has been disappointed
