That says it all really

Lol here we go again .........

Look, if you cannot see that the pup is too thin you shouldn't have dogs. I'm only thinking of the dogs welfare. And three meals a day of gain isn't what I'd call a good diet. Where's the raw meat wit

That pup is covered on his saddle hes a saluki x not a collie xs bull xs an any other cross you dobt see many saluki xs with plenty of body fat . Its funny that a few on here say all this but on a few other closed sites they say they pups in good fettle.

OK , you know best. I take it you're a young lad. I was the same once, I wouldn't listen.

I've owned saluki crosses all my life, maybe longer than you have been alive, and in my experience that dog is too thin. Why argue about it, just do something about it. Don't be dragged into the bullcrap of rushing a pup and boasting about how lean it looks and how toned it looks and how 'forward' it is. It's a pup. if you rush it you will ruin it.

Don't forget, the dog was a walking skeleton not many weeks ago.....

Have some respect for the pup.

He wasnt a skeleton come on

You said he was in good nick a few weeks ago though and told everyone who said he was underweight that they were talking shite and the dog was in good nick.

He needs the weight on him now. Not in a few weeks or months.

that would be the first and final straw for me , that's fooking cruel , and when the dog is having injury after injury , it will get passed on as its body hasn't developed properly .........

Now I've read this and I think the lad is over exercising the pup ?? If he is marching the pup out with his other dogs every day it's putting in some miles as his other dog look fine . Just feed him loads and and don't put push him to far just yet . I had a dog 3-4 yeRs back whip/grey xdeer and no matter what I did couldn't put wieght on him . He fractured his hip running into my big dog And was never quite right and after some advise I pts him as there was something fundamentally wrong .it broke my heart as I had big hopes and put a lot of time into him .

Get plenty of Raw meat and bones in that dog and I'm sure it will grow and develop a lot better than it would on Gain or any other complete. . . It does look a hell of a lot better than it did in that 1st pic and I can tell you are very protective and proud of your Dogs.

I don't want to come over as a know it all or try telling anyone how to raise there own animals, But ! just imagine how that pup would look if you really went all out and got it on the RAW diet..? I can assure you 100% that you would/will be blown away at how much more healthy and strong it will make it. . . Also if the rest of your team is on complete... Try switching them over before the season starts.. I have seen it a good few times now with mates dogs getting switched over to Raw and they never ever go back to complete. . . It can be the difference between and very good dog and Perfection !

Good luck.

As for the footwear . . , " German on holiday " is a look I often aspire to when throwing the towel on sunbeds at 6am in Benidorm...
