Funny Wee Story To Share

Evening guys just back from a rather amusing little night down the local river. Took my oldest boy down an my mate, wee mans ten an fishing daft, they had there rods sett an trying for the salmon, anyways an hour or so passed an nothing then bumped into my uncle who had jus landed a salmon on the fly an gifted it to my wee guy, I've never really been into fishing poached the odd dam but stick to the mutts. Just as 8pm was nearing a said to my mate heard a boy got one on a yellow flyin c shld try that which he did still nothing he has a wee starter reel so I asked for a wee go and third cast in wallop right at my feet, his line was makin tining noises his rod real bent managed to figure out his drag my uncle heard me shout for the net and came back up river, after five mins I landed a 10 pun 10 male salmon my mate fell in marsh tryin to grab the wee net had my whole body goin with excitement an fear with such a small reel. I know ur mind not sound amusing but to watch my mate fish for three hours an then have a quick go watch him fall and call me all the jammy sods under the sun what an end to day

Haha always the luck mind something simmiliar when I got my little brother out fishing when he was young was spinning a little river near here and after 30 mins of not catching he started the whole stropy tennager thing of he's rod was not good enuf pish so told him fine I'll swap roads the second cast of he's road landed a 5lb sea trout god I laughed my tits off that day he wasn't long in asking for he's rod back though

Yeh mate for three seasons I've pestered him Al catch one, he's never had one yet so to get it on his rod infront of him was a picture we work today an today he still couldn't look at me total sick lol

That's fishin' for you. I know of a similar story only it was a large pike and the person who took over the rod was a woman.
