Neal 1,873
Untitled.pngwelcome to the forum bud there's a few people that have them now in the uk and also work them as well not every one will get on with them as they can hunt on a long way but if you put the time and effort in there quite biddable and will turn there hand to most things That's a funny coincidence...I was just showing my son the photos on this thread and he was saying they looked like my tiny black and tan kelpie (she looks like a Manchester terrier cross) then I read your comment...sounds like they have a similar character too! Shape-wise they bring to mind the smooth fox terrier I remember from my youth in the 70s.

Neal they are originally bred from fox terriers if you click on this link and it should tell you about the history of the breed and how it came about https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jagdterrier

Neal 1,873
They were once but I don't think any still are. Interesting read, especially with regards to the attention to detail in breeding to type in the early days.

Keaner 97
No the blokes I had her off entered her too young which made her jibb. Rabbits and rabbits though she's mustard. The lurch bitch will be four this winter. She's a good alrounder day and night, fur and feather. Don't have her for foxes though
