Information Needed On A Shotgun

Hi guys

 

Just been given a hammer shotgun to clean and tidy up !

I've never heard of the make and I can't seem to fine anything about it !

 

It's called a" ROBOT & C LIEGE "

 

Any help would be great

I've had a look but I've had no success at all , only thing I found was a small graph with the make of gun and price in it and no other information

I think its worth getting it checked out by an expert. I don't know what the robot bit means, but Liege guns can be worth a fair bit sometimes.

Belgium made, can't be traced to a 'regular " manufacturer

May be able to date it roughly for you if you can take a pic of the proof marks on the flats of the barrels,

 

Liege has made a massive amount of guns for all sorts of different reasons over the years and the main European proof house is based there,

 

Could be an imported gun that was branded by a small dealer/blacksmith like is common with Birmingham guns.

You need to refer an expert regarding this. I don't have a clear idea about it because I am using shotgun manufactured by Safford Sporting Goods.
