Born Hunter 17,773
Are these places somewhere you look a bit of a lemon without kids or is it socially acceptable for adults to go? LOL The space museum in Leicester must be great these days too, but I'm not going now, I'd feel a right dick. Mate get yourself to the NASA space centre inn Florida it's absolutely amazing, for example an Apollo rocket laid on its side in sections within a hanger!, I seriously pissed off the missus as I was there for 8 hours and still wanted to stay longer I think there's one in Houston too... If I find myself in Texas again in the future I'll make the effort to get there. Edited August 4, 2015 by Born Hunter

You definitely should, I can't begin to tell you how good it is, for example you stand in a room and they play a movie on a huge screen which takes you through the development of the space shuttle, anyway after about 15 mins the bloody screen pulls back like a pair of curtains and the bloody actual space shuttle is behind it! You then go through to look at it. Id rather spend an entire week going round there than in those bloody theme parks but the wife and kids wouldn't agree

Always been the way I do museums

Born Hunter 17,773
LOL, thought a few people might be surprised. No not been to any London museums or exhibits. I went to the Space Centre when it first opened and as a kid it was amazing. Eating my lunch next to a Blue Streak missile, lol. I'd love to spend some time in DC at the various Smithsonian centres too. Another place in the states I need to visit. NY, LA, Miami and Vegas can wait. I must go to London and get it done... I was at the space museum a few weeks ago with my lad..The Mrs won tickets for the premiere of the new patric Moore planaterium it was a good day they have a cool Russian space dog costume from the early days but most of it is aimed at younger kids but the natural history museum is a different matter I'd rather go on my own there so much to take in you don't want kids distracting you.
