walshie 2,804
It's great and if you get fed up with it, it's right next to the science museum. Thoroughly recommend both.

BGD 6,436
All the big museums in London are well worth a visit. Natural history, British, Imperial War, Science A visit round all of those is something everyone should do at least once. Even more important if you've got littleuns

Born Hunter 17,763
Are these places somewhere you look a bit of a lemon without kids or is it socially acceptable for adults to go? LOL The space museum in Leicester must be great these days too, but I'm not going now, I'd feel a right dick.

I've been on my own and seen plenty of other solo adults, you'll be fine I prefer going without any kids, can take your time at the exhibits you're interested in without any moaning from the mrs or kids

dytkos 17,800
Master McGrath one of the first exhibits to see last time I went (many moons ago lol) but as stated all the London museums are excellent, as are most museums actually IMO. Cheers, D.
neil82 1,080
thing with most museum`s is kids wont appreciate it unless they`re geeks, when your an adult and spend the time to look and read the articles with most of the exhibits you really start to think and learn about things, went to the welsh museums as a kid on school trips and spent most of the time having a laff with the others, went back to the welsh national years later and spent more time looking at what was there and really liked the time spent there (found an old silver plate from my home area, tried showing my old man, couldn't find the sod again, museums are big places)
marshman 7,757
I took my daughter and nephews and we all had a really good day , I loved it to be truthful. Theyve got a crocodile skull nothing special there you might say but it's as big as fooking escort van ?and that's just the skull Lord knows how big the rest of it was lol. I just couldn't get my mind around something that big living on this planet, anyway it's a great day out you'll love it !
sandymere 8,263
I thought one took it as said, all museums are great places, I remember being enthralled at Tring museum as a kid then going to the natural history.............. Great places for adults and even greater for kids, puts learning into a context rather than from a book or screen.
