Rabid 1,936
Scrap is at an all time terrible low around here, guess yours will be the same, so I would either hang onto them, or trickle them into the market slowly, couple at a time on eBay and put a note you have more available. Had you been nearer to me I would have made you an offer on the lot, but haulage would most likely kill it. Out of interest, what sort of money you looking for, and any idea what they weigh ? Rabid 1,936
£40 a ton in my local EMR yard
peterhunter86 8,627
Is that a bad price but the good thing about steel it doesn't take much to make a ton
treecreeper 1,136
Yes got to be worth more for what they are than scrap value, trouble with big stuff is you need to flog it locally. As mentioned stick a few on ebay gumtree etc with a note saying more available buyer collects you can list on ebay for free if it doesn't sell
CushtyJook 1,097
£40 a ton in my local EMR yard I think that's good on the basis that if you are out collecting scrap there is more about for your to find as less people will be scrapping like when prices are sky high, but all time low would be around five to ten pound per ton like if was back in 2000 ish, also the iron grids would be classed as heavy so price always pays better than light stuff, I use emr aswell and there prices are always the best
