green lurchers 16,770
don't see a problem with otters killing a few fat overweight barbell its natures way isn't it
green lurchers 16,770
the bigger barbell that got eaten at adams mill stretch on the g ouse only attained them weights due to the amount of bait and high protein bait being chucked in in the attempt for speci hunters trying to catch the next british record , you could jump over it in most places , I went there once or twice and was disappointed to see the amount of anglers queing to get in the aquarium swim I fished further down stream after some decent chub , eventually settled on fishing ravenstone which was devoid of the speci gang as it was deemed to difficult and lacked the bucket loads of bait being aimed in , same as the kennet none of the specis qued up there either and there was penty of barbell in there but not of the size that the big boys were after but plenty of barbel just not the slow cumbersome heavy weights that attract the big fish hreoes ,after 14 blanks at ravenstone I sight casted a rolled lobworm to this critter not the monster as seen from many rivers but a nice fish all the same Edited August 4, 2015 by green lurchers
