For that sort of purpose, mate? Look for magnification with lightness and compactness. Birding bin's are a differant ball game alltogether. But you just want to 'see things more close up'. What ye Don't want is a chunk of steel slamming into ye chest all day - believe me! :icon_eek:

i am looking to buy a pair of binos but not sure what magnification????12x50-8x42 ect what are the best they will be for when watching my local hunt and when out mooching with dogs ect

 

8X32 ok zeiss top make or if your minted get some night vision good set for a couple of grand
