Yes mate im going to do the 5x7 i think as didnt feel like had done any thing tbh

your not suppose to feel sore after this workout. Your not working out you muscle like a volume routine, your working your nervous system. But your suppose to feel it once the load gets heavy.

stength isnt directly proportional to muscle mass as you will know from experience. Some little guy in the gym will be stronger at some lifts than a bigger fella. This is down to his nervous system being more efficient at recruiting his muscle for that lift. To train this you have to repeat heavy lifts as often as you can, as fresh as you can without fatiguing you muscles. To do this you must perform low rep ranges with many sets. But you must have sufficient rests between sets to allow your bervous system to recover for the next set. Its your aim to complete the lifts, not be sore, and to reach failure in a set is bad for strength training. Hope that helps.

Used this before in gym and all I can remember is getting very strong a lot of strongmen use this and eat very badly while doing it aswell Lot of the big strong guys I knew would also drink around 12 pints of full milk per day also and the strength and size gains where amazing I used to do three exercises five reps of five sets putting the Wight up each session bench press squats and dead lifts

Unfortunately my rotary cuff muscle(s) in my right shoulder is f****d, was going to gym regular (still am) but I'm confined to cardio, anything over 15kg on my right side and I'm f****d,
