Certainly will be sad when their joints are all blown out in their 20,s !

Some people are lucky and some are not mate.....not everyone will show premature wear and tear but some will and its just common sense to let a body human or animal develop completely and naturally be

when they hit Calais the fences don't stand a chance

I don't see it any different to Gymnastics , It don't show them lifting any weights just all body weight exercises, 2 hour a day ? whats the big deal with that ? I played every sport there was 7 days a week when i was a kid getting to International standard in one and county level in 2/3 others , i bet i put in 3 + hours a day doing everything for years and years ,then i joined the Paras and abused my body some more lol , im 46 now and trained hard since i was 12 ,had a few minor injury's but im still going strong ,just slower lol , Id be proud if i had 2 x sons like that ,better than being on a x -box all day like mine now lol

I used to train the wee lads at football and it used to make me cringe when you would see tiny little tots turn up in big metal studs......there's no reason for it and it just shoots their little knees, ankles and shins to bits.

There's such good moulded boots about now days that there is absolutely no reason to be putting young kids in metal studs.

I little bit of thought gos a very long way, most kids would play football with a broken leg if you let them but you have to stop them!

Hard as it is sometimes, I used to tell them "I'm not letting you play......your an important part of this team (even if they were shite) and I would rather you have a couple of hours rest and be able to help the team for all the other games than be out for the season"

I played rugby since I was 6 and have played at all levels up to international and also was a sprinter for my county my old man would let me do push up sit ups and pulls up but I wasn't allowed to tough weights till I was 16 he was a strong believer in that ! He was a professional football player for 15 years aswell he's 51 now and he's probably still quicker and fitter than most half his age

Nobody could be more encouraging of kids getting into sports than me mate im all for it......but apart from the fact that ive never seen bodybuilding as a sport all im saying is hard stress on bones and joints is a no no for kids.....im all for contact sports like boxing/rugby etc etc from a young age........but not anything that is going to hinder the body in growing to its natural potential like pure strength training.
