I know it would be expensive with about 10 mile of it or so, long term it would work out cheaper than having these feckers in our country getting, free housing , food , NHS, etc it got to be worth getting the e/fence put up and saving the above long term . 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Its a poor do when the French just refuse to police it properly and its the British taxpayer has to fund it. I was watching the French ferry workers who are on strike as usual, burning vast quantities of rubber tyres on the road. If he pi55es them off, they'll remove that courtesy, and all our checks will be carried out at our end of the tunnel - result ? More illegals, not less. We've got to keep them sweet, as there's nothing they'd like more than for the problem to go somewhere else.....in other words, here ! I can't understand why we and the French don't join forces, and ask for a temporary reintroduction of Europe-wide border controls, until a solution to this problem is found. That would, at least, put a stop to the free movement of thousands of illegals for now. Then we should set about turning back the boats from North Africa, not sending the Navy to pick them up and drop them off on our doorstep. Once they're in Calais, what to do ? And the fact they are cheese eating surrender monkeys. If I cut the curtainside on a lorry I'd be charged with criminal damage or some such crime. This lot get caught and have their names taken, given a cup of tea, and let out to try it again a couple of hours later. I can't believe you need sophisticated equipment to find stowaways on lorries.
