tomburras 2,730
Well I'm looking at buying a old twin shock trial bike is there anyone on here into them? I'm looking at maybe a fantic 240 are theese any good? What sort of things should be looking to check for when viewing them? Budget is around a grand and would consider other bikes - I'm after something that will hold it's value so anyone got any opinions/advice? Cheers!
Bunnyblatter 1,012
I'd go down the TY 175 route mate or if you can get one an early TY250 Pinky. Love a nice trials bike but sadly nowhere to keep one safely now a days

Bunnyblatter 1,012
Lol. The newer bikes are so much easier to ride mate. I had a Montesa 315r about a 2000 model and it was bomb proof I sold that and bought a Sherco 290 and that was a really nice bike. Much prefer the trials bike to the crossers now I'm getting older lol
tomburras 2,730
Well the gas gas I was going to view sold, so I went to look at a fantic 240 twinshock and wow! Iv gone for that one. Will be delivered hopefully Thursday. Pushed the boat out a bit but it's been rebuilt 18 months ago so hopefully a good bike with no problems.
