Yes im dumb to answer the obvious

 

Anyway getting to the reason im posting

 

Ive had the Mark three locator malarki for about a year now,...But never fully understood it Its not realyy my shit when understanding complicated,..Or what sounds complicated

 

Luckily i havent had to dig,.Touch wood So after reading through the instuction sheet many times i dont really get it still

 

Anyone bring moi to light,..Once agian lol

They are pure shite compared to the Mk1 but if you play about with it and practice you will eventualy get the hang of it..

Ive sort of got the hang of the bleddy thing but its the most complicated thing ive ever came across

its a piece of piss... have it on the "search" setting untill the L.E.D under the 8 on the top row flashes, flick the switch to "locate" and get it as low as you can... just follow the highest pitched beeps...

I personally think that the mark 3 locator is the dogs bollocks, had to dig to my ferts loads of times this year and find it to be much easier to locate to than the mark 1.

as i said before way more accurate than the mk1.i gave my mk1 away once i got the mk3.wouldnt have it back for nothing.millet me thinks your in the minority here,probably since only 7 replys on

I have never used the Mk 1 personally, but was with a mate several times, who has one and everytime we were near a metal fence ( not electric) it would go haywire!

My Mk 3, does not do that. My mate, as jigsaw, gave his MK 1 away and now has a MK 3.
