WhiteN 15
I apologise if this is in the wrong section, please feel free to move. Does anyone have any best ways of cleaning rust from steel rims? Im in the process of tidying up my horse trailer and this is the next project. Options im thinking of are either 4 new rims OR sand blast / powder coated OR wire brush and prime/paint?
Rabid 1,936
Wire brush is the cheapest but most laborious, how much spare time you got ? You can use a brush in a drill or grinder, a bit easier, but personally for a good job would be shot blast and spray, depends how good a job you want, how much you wanna pay, and how much spare time you have really. WhiteN 15
Shot blast and spray is what I'm swaying towards, purely for getting the job done quickly. Any ideas on how much I would be looking at?
