bullmastiff 615
My Wife took Tess to the beach a while ago and a Cocker Spanial came over barking at the sister in laws Collie, Tess went for the Cocker and clamped on it's head/neck. The Dogs were seperated and the Cocker was playing again in the sea whilst she was talking to the owner. My wife offered to pay the vets bill, which they've now emailed over to us. (£200). Was waiting tilll the end of the month (pay day) to pay it. My wife has just had a call on her Mobile from a PCSO saying the guy is now claiming Tess bit him too whilst he was trying to seperate the dogs, so she needs to come over and measure Tess's mouth to see if the bite mark would fit? My big trouble is that Tess currently has a scabbed over cut running down the side of her nose to her mouth, and also a bit of scarring and with her looking 'Pitbull like' I'm starting to panic a bit! After those 40+ 'pitbull like' dogs got taken by the police up north and put down before even getting to court I'm a bit nervous! Is there anything they could do? Obviously, if the RSPCA are present then their not coming in without a warrent.

air gun ant 1,666
Do pcso' have the same power of entry as the police? The bloke saying your dog bit him to, would surely need a wound to prove it wouldn't he?
walshie 2,804
A PSCO probably wouldn't even know which end of the dog the mouth is at. They're f***ing useless. When he/she gets there demand they send for a real policeman as PCSOs are dangerously underqualified to do anything.
johnny boy68 11,726
Pcso coming to see a dog that allegedly bit someone, something tells me this isn't going to end well.

air gun ant 1,666
If the blokes got a dog bite, they should be able to tell how old it is? And if he was unlucky enough to be bitten by a different dog on the same day why is he trying to pin it on you? Sounds like he's trying it on for compo mate! Hope you get it sorted
