gary.l 61
Hi all, I got my new s200 today, everythings good but I'm not too fond of the trigger, the 1st stage is to heavy so it goes off before I feel a stop for the second stage, it's like a mushy single stage trigger with a lot of creep if that makes any sense, I'd prefer the first stage to be nice and light so I can feel a definate stop when the second stage comes in and then a crisp break. The manual says not to go near the first stage setting so I'm unsure whether I should try to adjust it or not, and whether the adjustment screw for it will actually lighten the pull weight, or just shorten the creep. Any tips? Thanks. Quote Link to post

gary.l 61
Thanks Neil, I'm answering my own question here but basically what I did was, I cocked the rifle(unloaded) and wound in the 2nd stage screw until the rifle fired, then I backed the screw out maybe an eigth to a quarter of a turn and recocked it unloaded to make sure it didn't fire when cocking it. It's a nice light crisp single stage trigger now!!! Quote Link to post
Essveekay 0
I had the same. Put a Rowan engineering on mine and made all the difference. Quote Link to post
