Does the S200 suit you? Just out of interest. There rather small, I'm guessing your not on the chunky side? :) crackers mind. The only negative and it's only an opinion is the foriegn build of them, think there built Eastern European. Not in the UK. Wish AA did a 510 with the same kinda target influenced wood work.

Well in your budget a S200... You could get better.

WhAt would you advise Rez I don't really do a lot of shooting as I have running dogs so don't want to spend loads like just a bit of fun when not out with dogs but want something tidy and good value for money

If you can stretch to 600 your getting into the high end field PCP markets, maybe even the Ultramax, which comes with everything you'll need.

Anything after that has to be in the AA S410 area. Or you could get a secondhand 100... :D

For 500 your second hand buying choices are much bigger.

the s200 is made by CZ, and is definatly not built to the standard of the old motorbikes that had the same name, no way can that be considered a negative point considering the standard of some british built products, anyone who still thinks brits are the best needs to open their eyes and look at whats out there`, unions and accountants have killed off most of UK manufacturing

Ultra is one hell of a gun and even better regged You can pick them up for about £250-£290 or the older type for about £350 new that would leave you enough money for a reg , they will match any top price airgun any day of the week !!

BSA r10 can be picked up for about £425 -£450 HW100k about £500- £550 mark , have a look on gunstar ,freeadds ,this forum and other forums to.

I have a ultra .177 (older style one) regged by XTX AIR four and half years ago and never let me down , its so dam accurate even out to 70 + yards it will match both of my HW 100`s pellet for pellet
