Marsh Lad 321
Fished Chesil at West Bexington,at high water had a nigthmere with weed, last week ,but it was too rough But caught well at Cogden a couple of days later .A few eels a nice smooth hound, and loads of pouting. Ragworm works well you can buy it local at WestBay Quote Link to post

Born Hunter 17,763
I'm planning a trip down soon for a bit of mackerel fishing on Chesil beach. I'm totally green when it comes to this kind of fishing but I guess only one way to learn... Quite fancy bringing a few back on ice to cold smoke. Quote Link to post

If I'm to believe what I've read it's like shooting fish in a barrel! LOL. It needs to be, I'm not particularly a sport fisherman, I'm only interested in bagging some tasty fish. Quote Link to post
forest of dean redneck 11,597
Overfished now, personally I don't think it's been as good from when the Russian trawlers hammered it ,years ago. Quote Link to post
