bird 9,969
Went with trigger2 (jon) and vin to get few rabbits in the lamp, was just getting the dogs bit fit for the coming season.Jon didn't bring his dog Buster as he hurt his toe, so it was just Buck and vin dog Doris . It was pissing down all night, and did drop bit cooler as night wore on.Vin had seen Buck run before and same with me I hadn't seen Doris run so it was nice to see each others dog have a go.Buck issed his 1st rabbit, but after he was on fire , I think vin was surprised how agile+fast Buck was for a big dog, ive always said Buck can knock rabbits over quite easy, Doris was running good as well. we split up, me+ jon went one way , vin went the other. We seen quite few young'uns about, we kept Buck off them , he did 2-3 but put them back, as Buck not hard on rabbits, and we seen few mixy as well , suppose the bloody thing starts to show about now . It was very good night, even though we all got soaked lol, abut 1/2 hour before we finished Buck hurt him self, he cut his back leg, the front of his foot, right across his toes , he must have hit some rocks as there lot where we were , I t looks quite bad cuts ive give him some penicillin tabs, to stop infection, and him licking the wounds should help to heal them.So he wont be going out for few days un till I think its ok, feckin typical he was going great as well he would have got 40 I think . Anyway got 42 , Buck got 34 Doris 8 Thanks Vin for invite thanks jon brill lamp work with the big fecker 16 Quote Link to post
