swg dave 334 Posted July 28, 2015 Author Report Share Posted July 28, 2015 Both my mates have got the 170 lightforce striker,s When i compared my 150 up against both of these lamps it makes the beam look very yellow, the 150 as a more concentrated spot and is a lot more of a whiter crisp beam. ive seen some dogs run over there squatter using the 170 in a little bit longer grass, as with the 150 they go direct to the centre of the beam. There is less beam spread in the 150. Having said that i also have a 170, which are a very good lamp, but since getting the 150 i can honestly say the 170 has not been out the cupboard. richie1984 191 Posted July 28, 2015 Report Share Posted July 28, 2015 I've got both and prefer the 150 to be honest never had problem with it.my 210 has been repaired 4 times I've got no faith in the lamp anymore wires are shite.beams good enough on 150 for me don't have to worry about wires and battery has never run out. Most of my mates use the lightforce, I've got a lance in the garage somewhere. It's a handy little lamp. Got the tracer 210 variable and now got this little 150. I aren't saying the 150 will replace my 210 or my mates 240s (blitz). It's just another option, handy for nipping local after a few bunnys like I will be tonight ? If it breaks I've got a receipt and 12 month warranty. If it breaks after 12 months, I will get another one. Quote Link to post

Tonight will be the first night. I still won't be kicking in until the end of September but need to show my face on this farm and what better time than after I've got a new lamp? Lol. A shit lamp to one bloke could be a good lamp to another. I've caught lots of rabbits with them little Japanese cree torches what you said were shit earlier. Don't really know what you mean by a shit lamp. Maybe it just doesn't suit you? But it might suit me? I don't like them people carriers a lot of folk use, I think they are ugly and I've got no need for one. But to label them "a shit vehicle" would be a bit silly. Quote Link to post

I don't mind having a few runs on the lamp. Bitch is close to being fit so won't do anybody any harm. It's better than trying to ferret in summer. Lol. How old is your lad? Hope you get a few ? swg dave 334 Posted July 28, 2015 Author Report Share Posted July 28, 2015 A T here you go i copied and pasted this off an old post minus the posters name my mate also had a blazer lite said it was a pile of shit clu lite and blazerlights.........rubbish! when buying a lamp u get what u pay for.lightforce r the best thats why they r a little more expensive,but well worth it.i have got both the lazerlight(12v 55watt)and the blazerlight(12 100watt) and neither of them r brighter than lightforces "lance" which is the smallest of the range, with a 140mm lense and 55watt bulb.since i got a lightforce i havnt used the others.ligthforce is the way forward!!!!
