swg dave 334
Here is the Email i have just received lads, what a c**t was really looking forward to this lamp. Hello Mr MY SURNAMEThanks for your email. I'm very sorry to inform you that after great consideration and testing of the new 35W sample lights we did not feel that there was a strong enough improvement in brightness and effective power to warrant production. I'm truly aware that there is a strong demand for such a product, but sadly at the moment the samples we've received do not live up to our expectations and standards. While the project of a brighter light has not been discontinued altogether, it has for the time being been put "on the back-burner" and will likely be revisited again in time for next year's hunting season. My apologies for having to deliver what I'm sure is upsetting news and thank you for your ongoing custom and support. OH WELL LADS I TRIED TO KEEP YOU ALL INFORMED ABOUT THE LAMP WHICH I THOUGHT WAS A GOOD SURE THING IM JUST GUTTED FOR ALL OF US WHO HAVE BEEN WAITING TO SEE IF THIS LAMP WAS ANY GOOD MAYBE NEXT YEAR, BUT ALEX DEBEN TOLD ME THAT THE NEW LAMP WILL BLOW THE DOORS OFF THE 150 MESSER. Gaz_1989 9,539
I've just been and purchased the sportlight 150 LED lamp today. I've currently got the Tracer 210 variable and 22ah battery. But I'm sick of dodgy wiring connections and that shitty coil cable so thought I would give one of these a bash. I'm gonna nip out tonight on a permission that I have left alone since March. The farmer has rang 3 times asking when we are going on to clear the rabbits up and I've been putting him off saying im busy at work etc. I'm taking a mate with me who can use my lamp and I will compare the 2 side by side. Gaz_1989 9,539
Lol fair enough all-terrain. I suppose a bit of common sense has gotta be used, it is what it is, a small, handy lamp for running bunnys on small fields. If lads are trying to lamp hares at half a mile then they ain't gonna be impressed. I've used one and was happy enough to go out and buy one so there you go. W. Katchum. They are small and fairly light. I would say lance sized yes. Be ideal for your lad. This is the 150 next to my tracer 210... Quote Link to post

It's still going strong now. It's just the external wire to the battery which is shit. Time will tell. For £60 it's a throw away item. If it does me a season then I will be happy. Quote Link to post
