I will respect a blokes opinion, I will offer mine but I won't insist he believes what I say. However, want I don't want to be is f***ing mocked and made a c**t of......that's just out of line, if you can't do better than that then shut your f***ing trap I have heard the "why does god let.....blah blah" argument many times, and I have to tell folks now, people who think that way are not the only ones to have seen the dark side of life ;/ We are all here, we are all sentient being with a choice......we can spend trillions thinking up weapons that kill hundreds of thousands in the blink of an eye but we can't save kids from dieing.......in my book, that's our f***ing fault !! If we want to blame someone, then we better start looking a little closer to home....know what I mean ! Exactly Wilf,look closer to home...yet when things go well its "Thank God" I don't know if the mocking etc comments were made at me If they were I mocked no one person in particular....and I will say what I want to say I will be honest mate, I didnt even read your post.....or almost any of them to be honest. I skimmed over and knew what to expect......it's mostly the same mocking nonsense, no mutual respect type stuff. It's like saying BASC is the same as going shooting.......which it clearly isn't. One just lives off the back of the bigger thing and try's to take ownership and make up a load of rules. I saw some things once, terrible things, I went to the priest and asked him how can I carry on being a catholic in a blub that preaches forgiveness when I didn't have forgiveness in my heart and not could I ever. I would have been living a lie, and yes, I also cursed god and asked how a merciful god could allow these things to happen. I can only offer you my conclusion for my personal circumstance, I am in no way suggesting that my opinion would fit you or your mental situation, I came to the conclusion that "forgiveness" does not mean saying what happened was right or OK......forgiveness is saying "this has happened, it's terrible but I am putting it away and not carrying it with me" In my situation bitterness would have been a poison that festered and got worse and would have led goodness knows where. So, IMHO, forgiveness was forgiving myself and allowing myself to lay down a burden and move on. Hope that wasn't too sanctimonious lol......but I connected to your post about your brother and just thought I would offer my tuppence worth.
