ginge2k6 0 Posted November 14, 2007 Report Share Posted November 14, 2007 Got to do a media piece on Ferreting and its evolution and I need to clear a few things up, anyone ever used bolt nets, basically they are just nets without drawstrings and pegs, I just need to know why you use them and if they work well. mooster 1 Posted November 16, 2007 Report Share Posted November 16, 2007 When I was a kid we used ordinary nets which were not purse nets so did not have a draw string or peg. The rabbits bolted into the net and they were tangled and scrabbling about on the grass. This was sufficient to hold them until we grabbed them.I guess this would be called a "bolt net"?
