mattyg 1,862
I always know when there's one in the yard as mine go berserk.... No idea how they know. But then they just sniff it and come back in which is a bit of luck. One of my OAPs used to bring em indoors on the snyde and just leave em walking around! 1 Quote Link to post

bobcullen79 1,495
I come across one walking the terrier one night round the block, I let the dog have a sniff and the hedgehog stood on its tiptoes and puffed itself out then let out the weirdest scream, loud as you like. Quote Link to post

Truther 1,579
I nearly lost a terrier to tetanus after it had a go at a hedge pig, they're riddled in all sorts of nasties, my current dogs will find them, but not touch them, i've discouraged it from the start. 1 Quote Link to post
gnipper 6,467
My russel bit one in half and got him and the lurcher riddled in fleas for it. Cost a fortune in flea stuff. Quote Link to post
