riohog 5,721
Load of bollocks if you listen to what they say about Isis and other made up terror groups funny how an Iraqi man who owns the local kebab shop has family from area very close to Mosul the apparent capital of Isis and he said it isn't a war zone at all Mosul the capital? Think you mean Raqqa there pal (didn't even get the country right ), and it certainly is a feckin war zone as is Mosul. How do you know have you been ? Mosul is in Iraq and is the Iraqi capital for Isis raqqa is in Siryia and is the Syrian capital, my kebab shop guy regually rings his family who live near Mosul and he assures me it is all media driven shite and Isis are a U.S. Made up terror groups I don't usually care about conspriacty story's and such but why would a man who is from Iraq lie to me ? Infact the same square they show on the news I've seen a picture of his family sat by which is in the shop counter And I thought you talked bollox on boxing threads but you really have surpassed yourself this time ... bird 9,943
Isis and other terror groups say they are revenging muslims killed by Western forces. Surely all we are doing is perpetuating a so called war that already exists? I've read quite a bit about Winston Churchills exploits as a young man and the one thing that comes across is that these barbarians never forget a grudge, bloodshed for revenge can be 100s of years later and for the vaguest of reasons. I don't think any kind of military intervention will ever defeat terrorism, nor education ever stop the mindset and mentality of the people who will embrace extremism in such a way. Lets face it, we have kids who grew up in the Western world who are now returning to be terrorists and fight for just about the most brutal and backward regime ever seen. Women willing to become sex slaves, religious leaders willing to allow their meetings to be used for indoctrination and parents hiding what the younger generation are doing. I think it would be better to just strengthen the borders between us and them, if that means leaving Syria, Iraq or whatever to Isis then so be it, but cut off all trade, no help, no money and repatriate proven followers from all over the world. We should never, ever again interfere in any region as we did in the middle east. Let them kill each other, let others from here join them but never let them back here again. The whole world is affected by terrorism, if the whole world stuck together the terrorists would have nothing to fight over. Maybe then they would turn on the regime that funds them with oil money.
