Once upon a time I had a lot to do with various hallucinogenics and psychoactive substances. . . . . including some of the very cutting edge research chemicals, and the shamanic natural ones. Spent a

treated with respect, the psychedelics are some of the most helpful, useful drugs out there. f**k about with them, and they'll steal your mind and leave you with something twisted... Yokel

what is reality? it's not about creating a fantasy world, just a different reality. why go on holiday, can you not cope with your home town??? Yokel

One thing to bear in mind when taking psychedelics is that it will permanently change the way you look at things. Someone once said to me that you are never quite the same person after you've taken some, and that's true I found. It makes you look at things in a different way and once you're there there's no going back. I think that's why you hear stories of people taking one trip and being fecked for life, sometimes a certain susceptable type of person can't psychologically deal with the changes in the way the brain works.

Low doses of Libs always reminds me of being incredibly stoned on really good weed. The sort of stoned I'd get years ago before I built up my ridiculous tolerence :whistling:

as an older, more frazzled psychonaut these days, low doses are the order of the day. i love working with the trip, rather than allow it to totally take control...knowing your limitations is something learnt thru age definately...

those who roll over on their first trip are destined to roll over eventually its just acid gives them a short cut to mental instability

bang on the money malt! i think the biggest thing that fucks up some people, is not being able to let go of the "norm" your battling against what the drug is trying to show you. it's akin to going swimming and freaking out your getting wet! if you get my drift...

Magic mushrooms grow everywhere round here.....mind altering drugs can be very liberating, open your mind to things you wouldn't normally embrace.

Same here butty, the Preselli hills are especially renowned for the quality of the mushrooms found there. That's how I reckon they ended up dragging the bluestones from there all the way down to Stonehenge! Load of Neolithic trip heads sat in a circle at Carn Menyn suddenly thought it would be a good craic to drag some big feck off stones all the way down to Salisbury plain!

Interesting subject.

Mushrooms are wonderful in the correct surroundings and with the correct people.

Salvia, fec that,

Thought I was in a bacon slicer.

Trips or acid, microdots blotters windowpains are again all good in the correct surroundings with the right people.

Have a bad one and it fecs your brain.

I remember being completely gone once where everything was white.

No shape no size no object.

Just the white.

Don't think I could do anything now days lol lol

Wouldn't say they were 'destined' matey. Naturally more susceptible to various forms of mental illness, people with a natural insecurity or anxiety maybe, but sometimes certain drugs are deffo the key to opening the door that might otherwise stay shut with certain folk..

I've suffered anxiety attacks when a youngster and more recently when taking coke, would it be a bad idea taking these things??

Personally I wouldn't, others might advise different..
