Takes years doesn't it? takes 5 yrs, and you need to harvest after the dry season. (around march/april time) the alkaloids are at their highest then...so i've heard. Been growing peyote for around 20+ yr now. have a 25yr old, and a couple of 15+ yr olds left of many grown, aswell as around 20 yearlings on my window sill. and a good seed stock to plant when i can be arsed... When most young folk start taking mushrooms, they do so because they've heard stories about seeing dragons and being chased up the stairs by giant mars bars, but if you have the right sort of mind, ie you're an intelligent person with a good constitution, it can be a tool to turn inward and make sense of things that might not make sense before. It gives you the ultimate means of introspection, you start to answer questions about your personality and the world around you that you'd really struggle to answer beforehand.
