Took my son to the train station at Newcastle last night he,s away for his two day selection   and he,s just phoned to say he has had his   medical/ passed   drug test/ passed/phew lol   math

Just picked him up in the last half hour and he is full of him self past every thing with flying colors   it was a two day assessment and selection   he is off to cattarick in four weeks   cant

best of luck to another hero

Great news for him and the family great to see kids taking the right road in life rather than dithering about thinking about id best of luck to the young lad ??

I was in the s.a.s stand and stair :laugh: seriously though mack well done to lad sure he will pass no bother then it will be ya best suit and ty at his passing out parade :thumbs:

lol, hope he gets in , he will have true mates in there for all his life :yes:

my pals just finished in the army he don't no what to do with him self now but he still in contact with his pals and the samoans what he worked with

and a few other things but has passed them all up to now

 

just tomorrow to go so iv got my fingers crossed for him

 

im well made up for the lad as there is nothing around here since the pits closed for the young-ins

 

 

im one proud dad at the moment

 

 

I just thought i would share it with the lads

Just make sure he knows the difference between a rucksack and a parachute, 14,000ft is not the time to discover you made a mistake!

Saw the documentary on it a few years ago. If it was me and I got through, the bit I'd be dreading was the 'fresh air step' out of a hot air balloon. My B*%&^ks have gone weird just thinking about it. Do they still do that?

Great to here this! a young lad going the right way for a change, i know a lad who is out now but had the time of his life.

 

I tough him to shoot from the age of 5, he turned in to a sniper in the end witch was just what he wanted to be.

 

Good luck to your lad and wish him all the very best.
