Lurcher Crosses

Gday i live in Victoria, Australia and am interested in getting a lurcher pup. I am wondering if anyone can give me some advice about what breeds i should have in the dog. They would need to be very fast and so probably have a large percentage of whippet and greyhound however i would also like to have some kelpie. Are there any other breeds i should have in the dog and what percentages of each breed. could i have a half cross of kelpie without making the dog too slow?

Hey hares and rabbits particuarly also possibly foxes. so it would have to be very quick to catch hares also it would need to have brilliant take off because most of the time rabbits would be running to other cover not that far away so would need to catch it quickly if you know what i mean. Cheers

I'm asking $200 mate. As I said, there's one going to Vic, one to Cairns and one to a Toowoomba dingo catcher. I'm keeping a bitch back and there's a few dogs left.

The sire was a track dog local to me. He's won a few races around here and down on the Gold Coast. He was 29" and 32kg and a really nice, laid back dog.

If I wasn't taking a bitch, I'd take the last dog pup in the pictures above. He's always wanting to play and he's quite a character. The white one at the top with the brindle markings is by far and away the boldest. All the pups are friendly and are growing like weeds.

I certainly hope they take hare as that's what I'll be running with them. This was on the lamp but I hope they have the minerals for daytime
