Hw100 Pellet Choice

Here goes what's all your choice off pellet and what grains

Just spent over two years using the very hard hitting, very accurate, Air Arms Fields diablo, - fantastic combination in the HW 100 formats.

.177 - 8.4 grain

.22- 16 grain

 

Saying this though i am going to be trying the Air Arms Express 7.9 grain soon after reading some very informative information from VillaMan on here.

Same here mate I been using aa field diablo 4.52 been getting decent groups like but just order some those aa express 7.9 be good to see results like

Wouldn't using a lighter pellet , be harder to use in the wind ?

Mine is in 22 so as allways with all my rifles its

 

jsb exact jumbo 15,89

 

and she is spot on

 

well happy with her and them

 

just a bit worry,d about the quality at the moment with them

As most no im a big fan of jsb range and in particular the jsb jumbos there a hard hitting pellet and puts pay,d to all the pray i hunt

 

but issues with bent skirts and the use of old castings to make them is a worry as i use nothing else as iv say,d

 

and there not cheep ether so when you open a tin you dont want to find loads with the skirts bent but at the moment we are

 

and i dont want to change to another pellet at the end of the day if its not broken why fix it

 

but jsb have with the use of old castings

 

i just hope they see sense and put things right

I've just swapped from aaf , to jsb heavy , and to be truthful there isn't much diffrence ,, but the heavys are better down range as VM has said

I have been using JSB heavies 10.3 of late with great results , but I am giving AA express 7.9gr a go this week ,meant to be better in the wind and hold more energy down range as well

 

When I am wrong ,I am still right , so I am never wrong

I will let you know Mark , i have used them before and shot a rabbit at 60 yards , went straight down

The only reason i stoped using them because i had 20 tins of JSB heavies and 6 tins of fields
