Internet Security

Recommended Posts

For years now I have been using AVG free internet security, never had a issue with it and never had any issues with viruses or nothing, Just got a new laptop and set it all up and tried to set up AVG free but they no longer do this free service,

What do you guys use ?

Avast is awesome and free. Malwarebytes, spybot search and destroy and ccleaner are all u need   Avast is free aswell

If you want a rodent in a gimp mask it's just the place terry

you know it well then lol

Malwarebytes and spybot are just searching for crap on your computer that may have found its way on there

Ccleaner is the beast tho. Open it. Analyse, then clean. Rids all Internet history etc that could get you (cough, cough) caught out. Plus it releases some much needed mb

AVG free started causing performance issues one of my PC's after years of being fine, so I replaced it with Avast. So far it's been fine.

I had the same trouble. Avast is also free but they both work great.

All of the security stuff mentioned have free versions.

Why anyone would use a free AV is beyond me, there not worth the disk space they take up

While it may seem like you have no issues, viruses/malware/spyware these days don't advertise their selves, like they did 5 years ago

You can buy Kaspersky Internet security for £21 for 3 devices, or its free(full version) if you bank with Barclays
