Help needed

Hello folks,i am in the process of building a dog run,i have done it arse about tit and done the frame for the run first :doh: .

I am now at the point where after xmas i can concrete the floor.

I am no good at DIY at all,i want to know how many 25KG bags of concrete mix i will need for a run which is:

 

LENGTH 224CM/71IN

WIDTH 180CM/88IN

DEPTH 5INCHES.

 

So if folks on here know how many i require could you please let me know as i have not got a clue :wallbash::doh: .

Without sounding like a Know-all boffin, the formula for working out the amount of concrete you need goes like this

total cubic metre required= L X W X D=(2.24M X 1.8M X .125M)=.504 cubic metre

so working on that basis you need about half a cube of concrete, have you thought about getting a barrowmix firm in, basically they mix only the amount you need and place if for you!!
