Price For Pups

Recommended Posts

You've also had a very big litter and done well to find homes for the ones you have already. Price is less important than most things when choosing a pup, timing for most people is the decider . Have you advertised them elsewhere, because that's what I'd do.Atb Joe

just on here moochers and s private page on face book , there could be a couple going up the glens waiting on word joe ?

I thought people would've snapped them up with them being half x whinshaw.? Throw some haggis and white pudding in with the clootie and I might have one.?   And some fanny juice too!! ?

£150 is cheap for a well bred and well raised litter .......

Well looks like I'm holidaying in Scotland in a couple of weeks, you gotta make the most of picking a pup up... So it's a cottage in the highlands, take the missus kids and dogs, kayaks, rods, and get

£150 doesn't seem like much to pay for a hunting companion that could be at your side 10 years?

A good working mans price for a decent lurcher, quality will always sell

Just remember to be up on socialising the ones that hang around a bit longer, don't want them to miss out on the crucial first few weeks of socialising while waiting for their new homes.

Tb25 "dogs are pets to me first.."

So if your working dogs are shite do you still keep them ?

your shite and his shite may be completely different, some folk like the challenge of getting the most out of a dog, others want nowt but the best. No right or wrong answer to it imo

If your the one feeding it then thats all that matters to me. Long as your honest and not blinded by the fact its your own dog. Everyone seems to think they own breed worthy dogs lol. Can hold my hands up and say dogs ive loved and even had sleeping in my bed have turnt out to be no good. Heart breaking but thats life i guess.

you look like you have put the efat in to the litter that should be put in and if the parents are 100% what you and others want i think £250 is about right to lads you dont realy now. that way you will put off a few of the cheep as boys that keep them 5minits.its a hard one with such a big litter but but if you did drop your price there is a good chance you will drop the quality of homes jim.

the wersed thing i ever did was gift a litter to so called mate and it was a desaster never would i do it agin

as others said mate, 150 is fair.

guy that bred my bitch was sound, knocked a few £ off the price and gave me her for £50 since i was driving down from edinburgh

true that , if I had litter and somebody travelled good 8 hours to pick it up, I would knock off some for there petrol money, if there going to put they much effort in to get it, they sound like the right type of person to have a pup .
