I thought people would've snapped them up with them being half x whinshaw.? Throw some haggis and white pudding in with the clootie and I might have one.?   And some fanny juice too!! ?

£150 is cheap for a well bred and well raised litter .......

Well looks like I'm holidaying in Scotland in a couple of weeks, you gotta make the most of picking a pup up... So it's a cottage in the highlands, take the missus kids and dogs, kayaks, rods, and get

£150 is a fair going what I'd expect to pay for a lurcher pup, I've always said if I bred a litter I'd be around the £100 mark and I don't understand these fuckers that think it suffice to clash on an extra £50 for it being a bitch pup...

Would cost that to take family to pictures....A good well bred ,looked after pup of any breed will cost more to bring on to parting date..

That price over the dogs lifetime, will be paid back in spades,in enjoyment ,work and company..

250 in my opinion would be fair for surplus, but nothing to a good homes if not breeding for the sake of it, would be the ideal.

I don't think it's the price mate ... My brother a few years ago bred he's lurcher bitch long story short he ended up gifting the last two them to good homes , he was only after £80 each .... Now there's a lad down the road that's selling jack x pug pups for £450 a pup and they're gone before their 8 weeks old .. I don't understand it myself but there you go lol.

By the way if I didn't have a yard full of terriers I'd have one in a second and that's saying something as I haven't wanted a lurcher for years ?

Nowt wrong with the price for a well reared pup Jim  Same as you mate,I don't understand how people think they will make their fortune breeding dogs,I only bred one litter (to keep one back) and barely broke even, this was a litter of KC Staffs, costs a fortune to rear them properly.Im sure they will find suitable homes eventually, better start stocking up on Wagg just incase  Agree with Slip Lead,if they were hyped up and three times the price you would have a waiting list  ATB Dave

£150 is a fair price for a fair pup, as stated above I think timing is a big factor.ive always tried to source a pup so that I get a full summer with it, plenty of long summer evenings to mess about and do a bit of the basics.

Best of luck with the pups mate.
