No mater what he wrote resorting to swearing and name calling is childish , if you cant write a reply without using them imo dont bother

I didn,t see the article , but I presume it was the usual anti rubbish , and I can understand why you got angry and messaged him ,but maybe if you wanted him to listen to your objections ,pointing out any inaccuracies and giving him a fair and balanced argument for hunting would have been a better way to go than an aggressive sounding messages with insults ,

just my own very humble opinion .

Well i think you done good mate its a " man in the street " type of comment ......i think sometimes this softly softly approach us English are so good at is what makes people take our kindness for weakness if your going to c**t someone off then do it from the heart sooner or later the average man in the streets voice will get heard........these days if you want to make your point you cant just gently tap someone on the shoulder anymore you,ve got to full out smash them round the back of the head then you,ll know you have their attention...................it should never have got like that but its where we,re at as a nation in my opinion so good on you

I didn't see the article and i am no writer but something like this.

"...In response to Mr Perry's article dated ........ I was shocked and offended by the utter and astounding lack of knowledge presented by the above, the publication of which is an insult to the reader and you sir should be ashamed for printing an article based on nonsense and conjecture. (you would have to reference parts of the article somewhere here and say what was wrong and why.)as a patron of the rag you deem fit to call a "newspaper" I demand that the opportunity be given to a representative from the CLA or other such organisation to bring balance to Mr Perry's work of fiction that painted a dim light of an activity that has been the livelihood and way of life for many people for hundreds of years.

You c**t..."

Gnash you are one of the few people on here who dont just throw abuse and insults at people who have a different opinion to you ,I dont always agree but your viewpoint is always well thought out and comes across as a genuinly reasonable standpoint ,thats why most on here will listen to what you have got to say wether they agree or not .

That same attitude works just as well in real life ,we can be persistant and reasonable ,strong and unmoving yet civil.

Its almost a case of 3 steps forward 1 step back Stan......from a scrappy little kid ive tried to calm down and reason with folk the older i get................yet im starting to realise over the years you can actually get more done with force than reason :D ...............but no you are right i know that..... i guess we all get a bit " pissed off " at times and need to vent our spleen from time to time i wouldnt hold it against the chap.

I like you Stan you are a steady hand on the shoulder, are you old enough to be a father figure by any chance ?

The antis won by shouting and swearing

Pro hunting lost by using a more calm approach

Look at the recent interview with curly most people will only remember him from the interview

The other person and his view is forgotten

If you want to keep something you need to fight aggressively for it
