coursing-lad 71
Just a little update, here's the pup I've been bringing on, he's 10 months old and coming on a treat. He's only done a few rabbits however can't grumble at the age. He's a deerhound x greyhound collie x greyhound, also the sire aswell. 4 Quote Link to post

Blackdog92 2,047
Like that bottom pic. I do like them deerhound x's. Do the deerhound x's take a while to mature like pures or do they get going a bit quicker? Quote Link to post
Chicken_man 1,651
Bonny dogs mate. Atb with them :-) Quote Link to post
Maximus Ferret 2,063
Is the sire your dog? Deer/grey by saluki/grey? Or am I getting mixed up here. He's a fine looking hound anyway and a useful size. My own deer/grey bitch is 29 at the shoulder and a bit big at that to be really good on rabbit. She'll catch a bagful of them but misses way more than my collie/grey bitch does.(makes up in other ways though) If you get a chance could you post a pic of the pup taken sideways on and with the camera at the height of his shoulder please. I'd be very interested to see how his conformation is. Cheers and best of luck in the coming season. Quote Link to post
lurchers 2,881
Nice pup have you been stripping his coat out as he's a bit thin on the back legs mate. Quote Link to post
