Opinions On The Hawke Airmax 30 Sf

hi

i was just wondering what people think of the hawke airmax 30 sf as i think its time for me to upgrade my setup on my ultra se

 

or could you suggest any other scopes to consider

I would get a standard mil dot scope . I have a few hawke this and that I think they just make this and that reticle to keep you buying scopes . A standard mil dot scope works fine and the information on how to use it is every where you dont have to use HAWKE BRC or what ever it is called today . to be fair my map 6 and sr 12 work but if I was upgrading I would get a quality scope with a mil dot ( or half mil ).

Mint scopes man. I dont own one, went the Sidewinder route myself, but if its as good then its good. Maybe, and just maybe, a bit of overkill for your Ultra... But its only a thought.

I had one within a week of them hitting the shops. I thought the glass was very good for the price. Build quality was excellent and the gradients on the s/w concurred with the distances I measured out. Having used the MAP6A for so long though I just couldn't get used to the ret so sold it shortly after. Quite a few appear on the HFT circuit so they appear to be working for some. If like me you suffer from parallax issues then consider the Viper Connects (if pcp) as the one I am trialling has completely eliminated the issue.

As said I would go with any of the hawke scopes I've got them on all my rifles and I reckon price wise there unbeatable

I have one on my 100 in 8-32X50 and i find it superb, the glass is nice and bright,. the AMX reticle is clear and simple to use

Good scope , my mate has one on a ultra and its the dogs b***** go for it
