there is a difference, but not much. I was trying to be encouraging. but looks like you've p#ssed on that bonfire

yes i no i was being sarcastic but sox seems to think there's no difference in the pup

I'm sorry I am sure you have been in the dog game a long long time and have vast experience in conditioning dogs so I will bow to your superior knowledge ........

no i haven't sox and i dont claim to have been im just not blind lol it doesn't take a genius to look a 2 pictures and tell there's a difference

there is a difference, but not enough to matter. If I had a pup looking like that, and if I felt the urge to post pictures of it (which i wouldnt, due to embarrassment), I would be asking for help/advice. Not looking for somebody to blow smoke up my arse

the lad had plenty of advice and help on the other topic trenchfoot

Ken i got all the best food a dog could want here.she eats f all..she's had a good feed today as am walking her now to make her hungry..but not eating no were I would like her to be.I like fat in pups. She looked great when Tony had her I must look like am not feeding her now lolFB_IMG_1436528899134_zpsyp3hyhi9.jpg

Pups often take a while to settle into their new homes, and some puppies are never destined to carry excess weight. There's a difference between being fat and OK. Fat is not good: too much weight for growing bones to carry around. Loose supple skin, ribs just showing in Whippet and Saluki types, and loads of energy: that's what I look for in this type of pup.

Edited to add: wrote the above without reading the whole thread ... then learned that pup is fed with adult dogs from one bowl :icon_eek::icon_eek::icon_eek::icon_eek::icon_eek: WTF!

How on earth do you tell which dog gets the right amount? And for sure the pup needs her own bowl in a quiet spot where other dogs can't get near her while she eats. It shouldn't be boot camp for pups. If they are to have confidence in themselves and get the right amount of food they need individual care and feeding.

They have one meal out the same bowl.she's feed in her own.the sharing of mince on the one meal is to keep the older bitch in check. Av done it with all my digs and never had a problem

Everyone does things differently you can only advise on the way you know an do things iam sure both pups will be fine in the end tb25 that pup don't look to bad bud it mite be worth ringing man who bred it an ask him what he was feeding an try this an slowly mix your normal snap to it this may also stop pup getting trots iam no expert just my opinion ATB with both pup lads
