I very nearly started cheating once and she found out before it got further . I really hurt her and it ashamed me I was thinking with my knob more than thinking about helping her with our son who needs all the help he can get . I'm a changed man now and that really made me realise what is important . I love my wife she's also my best mate, never tells me what I can or can not do, always supported me and does the majority of looking after our two children whilst holding a job down of her own. Yes we have fights but that's because she's also strong willed, always has her own opinion. Quick example, I had to make a huge decision about moving job last year, moving from a firm I'd worked for for 20 years at a senior level however it's was nearly killing me the pressure and long hours, to a much larger organisation that may or may not work out. I asked her what she thought I should do as the consequence would be either happiness in my new job, it's successful and happy days or the flip side the project fails and I'm out of work which means we risk our financial future. She said go for it your unhappy and that means more to me, if we need to sell the house and downsize if it doesn't work then so be it we will still have our family. I liked women, I got on with women and I still do. When I met my wife I was burned out in my soul, I was ready to meet her in my mind. That women has given me 4 wonderful kids, I was never a 9 to 5 bloke so she has put up with some shit and never once not supported me........I love the woman with all my heart and wild horses wouldn't make me hurt her in any way.......especially for the sake of something I have done a thousand times before and would mean as much as dropping my fag in the gutter. Is that honest enough ? But once committed that was it. The vows for better or worse actually mean something to some people, and it works both ways.
