skycat 6,173
Some of ours love raw liver, others will only eat it cooked. Same with kidneys. Quote Link to post
jwhizz420 177
This discovery is a result for for me, allwAys wanted to feed my Lurcher on 100 % raw , but point blank refused to eat kidney or liver,i know you should have 5% of the meal should be offal. So fed half biscuts half raw. Noticed certain areas on my Lurcher hair was thinning and bold patches. To be honest I just thought it was the dog. Now a good month on the raw all the bold patchs gone and his coat is thicker than it's ever been. Will never feed him biscuts again Quote Link to post
jeemes 4,498
Good on you for feeding flesh. Cooking wont hurt meat especially if you do it slow. I wouldnt give too much liver and kidney,it gives them the threpney bits, and thats no good for them either. Quote Link to post

I always though whole carcass feeding was the best way to feed them anyway. I had 6 dogs at one point, and they would polish off a whole roe carcass (roadkill) in 2 days. 1 Quote Link to post
fireman 10,993
It is the best way to feed without a doub't although i do drop the guts out but as it is with the rest of it,i put a muntie fawn down for them the other week and thought it time for a different dog to have a go on it and the bloody lurcher had eaten the whole fecking thing ,just in time i was to see the last hoof going down ..
