At the risk of offending Tyson's followers, he's a f***ing bum, in all honesty anybody who follows boxing knows that these two might have been fighting for numerous belts but really if you can say hand on heart that that was a genuine world title fight then you need your heads examined, what would Ali, Norton, Frazier, Bowe, and even spinks have done to these two ?

And you have to ask yourself where are the rest of the heavyweights ? f**k knows who the Ukraine boxer has been. Beating for the last nine years but let me say there must be good heavyweights out there in America , or the UK that would beat fury hands down, ..he has no movement, no speed and no skil in my opinion, but to give credit where it's due he has now won the world title

f**k knows how.

I disagree.. He's had his doubters but he went into the lions den and came away victorious.. Give the man credit.. You can only be the best of your generation.. You can't beat fighters of yesteryear

Fair play to fury both of them never threw a decent combination all night. Klitchko never turned up and didn't have a plan b ...credit where credits due to Fury he frustrated him all night and never let him dominate ....That's Fury in with the big boys now let's see how long he remains champion

About 1 more fight ;)

Well done fury enjoy ur time as champ, I heard a interview from Bunce who said if Joshua fought Tyson tomorrow he wouldn't lay a glove on Tyson???? Really??? Gnasher your the man so is bunce talking crap????

Firstly im " a " man not the " the " man  ......i think not laying a glove is unrealistic but would he beat him tomorrow......no i doubt it but then would Fury have won a world title as a 2 year pro ? no i doubt that either so its a meaningless argument really.

My heads sore had a few need a big breakfast now , had Fury to win need a couple more results and I've should have a few quid

Hanging here too...off out for a livener on me way down Carrow road as we got Arsenal at home today...wont be betting on that...did have money on Fury...if Whyte can do the business on the 12th...im in for a nice few quid...good to have a British born Heavyweight champion of the world...despite how bad a singer he is

Did you have the double on the Joshua/Whyte fight as well then ? what price did you get ?

Fair play to you its always refreshing to see folk having the courage of their conviction to put their money where their mouth is andcommit to a prediction instead of half heartedly hinting and then saying i told you so afterwards !

And by the way did any of you boys i was chatting to in the early hours between the Fury and Degale fight get your money on the prediction i gave you ? :D quite a prosperous night all round :boogy:

Serious question here. Now I don't follow boxing religiously but I do enjoy these hyped fights.

So honestly why does a boxer have to wait years to fight the best in the business? I hear all the time that this era is one of the worst in the heavy weight division so is there any point in young quality talent like AJ fighting his way through mediocre boxers just to get a title shot when everyone seems to think he would beat Fury now?

I think thats a bit unfair mate.....yes we know this is the worst era in heavyweight history but we knew that beforehand.......on a performance like that you have to question the quality of Klichkos opponents for the last 10 years but sometimes a fighter is just better than we think......i dont think it took any amazing strategy to figure out what Fury had to do it was a pretty straightforward plan its just whether he could execute it or not.....i didnt think he would be able to but he is technically better and more disciplined than i gave him credit for the main task was to take away Klitchkos right hand and Fury did so with constant head feints and side steps.......the way Klitchko usually paws away with the left to measure distance for the right hand Fury negated that with fast side to side erratic movement that made Klitchko wary of leaving himself open to Furys counters via a longer reach......i feel Klitchkos offence was spooked by Furys unpredictable nature meaning the wide stance of Klitchko made it easy for Fury to adjust his angles and slide in and out of range smoother and quicker making Klitchko fearful of being caught in no mans land and getting sparked......Klitchko reacts badly to getting hit at the best of times he mentally panics and so Furys speed of movement in unconventional ways was always going to be the obvious plan but like i say i personally didnt think he had the ability to execute it........but he did......it was a poor quality fight by world title standards but winning titles isnt about quality its about getting the belt.....which he did and should be fairly congratulated for doing in my opinion.

Personally i dont think Joshua would beat Fury now.....i think Fury knows too much for a 2 year pro who currently only knows how to hurt people........hence why all young prospects need experience via mediocre boxers.

Fair point.

So it seems a bit unfair when you hear the bullshit thrown at certain boxers like "they have fought no one" when realistically the majority of boxers destined for the top have no option but to fight there way up the ranks......hope that makes sense.
