Hughie v wilder has been listed to happen, Imagine all the Joshua fans on here when young hughie becomes a world champ at 20 year of age Joshua still fighting bums at 26

how worried must Tyson be that aj was knocking men out in one round men that have never been stopped in his 13th fight that him or klitchko couldn't do f**k all with??? And that Tyson was only fighting taxi drivers at that stage of his career?? Imagine all the fury fans on here when Joshua finishes Tyson within in 3 rounds like he has every other one....
Your forgetting the people he hasn't taken past three round have all been bums apart from one who was a journeyman looking for a final pay check.
the journey man fury or klitchko couldn't stop??? ??

Yes credit to Joshua for stopping him no denying that but the man was only after one thing and that was money he didn't have any motivation atall for the fight but yes aj has good power but that's not everything in boxing

none of the furys have that power to knock men out so do you think they could sustain that power from Joshua?

having punching power does not mean you can't take a punch also doubt most heavyweights could take a clean aj shot to the chin tho tbh but then again doubt aj could take a clean shot from fury and I think Whyte is going to be the only powerful puncher aj has been in with and Whyte has had him down before

How exactly old would Hughie be if he fought Wilder for the title?? If he's got a chance to break Mike Tyson's long lasting record then he should take the fight ASAP.

I'm sure the won't do that now, they originally had that as their plan but not so long ago maybe a year of so after hughies illness they said it just wouldn't be relicstic anymore

You've heard the saying he who dares wins?? It's not as though Hughie is the next Joe Louis in the making, if he gets the opportunity to break Tyson's record he should go for it and be remembered in history.

Looking at Anthony Joshua, he seems to have the assassin like, killer instinct when his opponents are in trouble.

A bit like Lenox Lewis used to, just calm, clinical and accurate power punching to render the opponent incapacitated.

I guess we will only know how good he is when starts fighting better opponents, but I personally think he would beet both the Furys now.

How on earth could the Wbc possibly get away with sanctioning a fight between their World Heavyweight Champion and a young novice fighter rated 33 in the world !

How strange though.............if Wilder has decided he wants to fight a young English novice fighter why didnt he choose big Josh :whistling:

By Joshua staying amateur longer meant winning an Olympic gold makes him one of the biggest names in the sport........thats why he gets all the " hype " as you call it.

Succeed or fail he becomes a rich man look at Audley..........its just good basic business/sporting advice

Treading on egg shells as we all must and with every respect to Hughie Fury......how can Wilder possibly get away with offering a 15 fight novice who has never even won an area title a shot at the world heavyweight championship :icon_eek: ......like Wilder hasnt already been handfed a world title he,s now going to be allowed to fight whoever he likes !

Ali did it with an 8 fight novice in Leon Spinks and lost his title.

If anybody ever deserved an easy defence it was a man who had just won back the title for the 3rd time and was proven over and over and over again.........what has a virtually unproven Wilder done to deserve an easy defence.

Now that is going be worth a watch...evern if aj drops him in the first round it will be money worth spending to watch fury dropping to the canvas. Although I think aj will drop, him in the 5.....maybe late 4 Edited by Navek

Without a doubt fury gets dropped by aj and most likely klitchko either but he's not got a heart made of glass like everyone else he get up and he'll win a gypsy man wouldn't lie on his back for a million pound as old Bartley Gorman said

Looks like Fury-v-Wilder is set for 26th Sept...plenty of time for the lad to prepare...its an opportunity he cant let pass him by...the WBC are as bent as a 3 pound note...Widers eliminator against Scott was criminal...a disgrace to boxing
