The guys selling them will usually be selling Unicorns as well. Search any freeads under Unicorns and you'll find the right sellers.   Or pick up a random Staff and hang a pedigree off it. it's what

I think people are getting mixed up with what a runt actually is, the smallest pup in a litter is often just the smallest pup in a litter not a runt! Often the smallest of pups can grow bigger than th

A few lines of APBT carry the merle gene, whether from crosses to Catahoula's or collie types in the early days of the breed. Breeders just cull them as a matter of course because it's a "fault" with the breed. I've even known so called working bulldog breeders cull merle pups at birth because they didn't want it getting out that their line carried merle...

If delboy's mate wants to breed some pretty merle pets I say crack on, nothing wrong with breeding pet dogs for colour/looks, IMO

I've heard first hand from dogmen in America of the odd merle popping up in some litters never heard of one being allowed to grow on though. If it didn't pop up from time to time in APBT lines why would they bother to explicitly ban the colour in the standard? It pops up in some lines but it's undesirable because it shows a link to the general purpose farm bulldogs used as backcrosses in the early days of the breed. It doesn't make dogs expressing the merle gene any less pure though, just an out of standard colour.

Of course this is all irrelevant because delboy himself said his mates dog is a crossbred bulldog type dog not pure APBT

It only a modern thing ,,that colour has been added ,,no APBT can come that colour ,,,its banned because any dog that has it is not a pure bred APBT ,,,

APBTs have and contiue to come in merle though, and from tight old lines nothing "modern" about them. Been popping up in the odd litter since the 1900s...
