The guys selling them will usually be selling Unicorns as well. Search any freeads under Unicorns and you'll find the right sellers.   Or pick up a random Staff and hang a pedigree off it. it's what

I seen a cracker to day , bloke said it was a staff, but it looked to me about 19in and good 45lb , it was dark brindle . I thought at 1st it was a pit, but it did look like a staff more in it head shape , than a pit. was nice dog not bad temp with dogs and people, but think the bloke would get unwanted attention just by the size of it, I t was like the staffs we had as kid in W-ton old type staffs not like the show stuff of today .

I personally wouldn't pick a shy bull terrier pup.... For me a bull terrier should be a headstrong lively bouncing chunk of Muscle. I find the lively bull terriers are Easyer to bond with train and to get in condition.

. How often do you get to look and first choice of a full litter unless it's your own or your dog sired the litter.

Planning mate...as simple as that...last pup i got...i waited years until a certain dog was put over a certain bitch...got myself to the head of the queue so to speak
you said queue so I take it you didn't own either of them mate and did those breeding the pair not hold any back for themselves then
as i remember it the whole litter was gifted out...
see the curl on that
Waited years for a certain dog and bitch to be lined and they was all gifted out and none kept back I can't see how anyone whuld ever put ther bitch threw a pregnancy and not keep nothin back for ther selvs and gift the lot away that sounds a lot more Disney than a runt making a decent dog unless money was involved

the fella that bred the litter used to come on this forum yrs back...kept a tight little family of dogs around him near on 20yr...to move a line on you need to breed...and some times its just not possible to keep all you breed...so you gift dogs to like minded people that you hope you can trust...so they are available to use if needs be further along the breeding program...this is common practice among some lads...so dont see why your getting all snotty about it...you bred a litter and kept the runt back...you had nothing to lose doing that...what im saying is someone going to take a pick from a litter should try and select the best there is...and in my opinion thats not the runt of the litter

I think people are getting mixed up with what a runt actually is, the smallest pup in a litter is often just the smallest pup in a litter not a runt! Often the smallest of pups can grow bigger than their siblings but a runt is a sickly or stunted pup that should be put out of its misery if the dam hasn't rejected it already.

A genuine breeder wants his dogs to go to people who can get the best out of them money doesnt even come into it......back years ago some breeders would even pay the price of a keep and stake money to have their dogs with certain conditioners/handlers.

I already had a dog from em, cost me sod all they spoke about an upcoming breeding. Said it sounded good and put me down for a pup i dont care if it costs me a grand. Turned around n said, "how much you pay for that one?" replied nothing and got told "exactly we dont give a shit about the money".

I would be the same even with a pet breed like my french bulldog. If i had a litter the right home would be more important than the money. Wouldnt care if it was 2k and i know many might just say that but its my morals and concious. Get more joy out of being able to see the dog grow and be well cared for with the option of something back than a poxy few quid.

Only just seen this ,, it Wasn't a snotty comment mate or wasent meant to sound like that I just chuldent see from my point of view how anyone whuld breed a litter and not keep anything back for them selvs if the litter had been planned for years weather keeping a line or not if I had something special or a breeding that to me was going to be the one I whuld most certainly be wanting to keep something back for my self to see how that breeding i had waited years for preformed in person obviously the surplus whuld go to other lads who I thought whuld do the pups justice free of charge but i I whuldent put any bitch of mine threw a pregnancy and not keep nothing back myself if I Dident need nothing Thers no point on breeding if it's your line and you don't need anything at the time the lines not ready to be perpetuated imo the lads chuld wait till I was ready
