Scrutinise the backgrounds of ALL who apply for any kind of licence or job where public contact is involved , then they should be made to provide character references from at least 4 respectable people who will be accountable for their references. Put cctv in all cabs ,. buses, and all public places any one not doing wrong can have no objections these protect innocents not the guilty . People talk of big brother and privacy in todays world unfortunately privacy and peoples rights sometimes have to be curtailed. Terrorism is not a New Phenomenon it been around for thousands of years it just is publicised now around the globe unlike when it was clandestine and a tool employed even by so called civilisations.

I watched a report on the Scottish news on Friday night and saw footage, from various towns and cities in Scotland, of people who had stopped in the street to observe the tribute whilst in the back of the shot many other people went about their business seemingly either oblivious or completely uninterested in the minutes silence. No idea or interest what ethnicity they were. I myself was silent.

Bollocks. A white guy planted a bomb in a mosque it barely made the news and he certainly wasn't labelled a terrorist. None of the attacks on mosques up and down the country have been widely reported or labelled as terrorism.
